Beautiful green-blue fluorites are not only to be found in England or China, recently also from Madagascar. The site has been known for many years, but only coarse spar was mined, which was ground into decorative items. Since mid-2017, very beautiful crystal groups have also been found. However, the site can only be reached after an eight-hour walk and unfortunately the Madagascans pack the steps - if at all - with the chaff from the rice threshing, so that the vast majority of the haul reaches Antsirabe quite damaged. In addition, the area is very unsafe because of the bush robbers ("dahaly") (extremely dangerous for Europeans). and dark green.
